Types of ultrasounds

2D ultrasounds
2D ultrasounds show a grey, blurry outline of your baby. This type of sonogram scan sees right through your body and will project an image silhouette of your baby.
In addition, the 2D ultrasound shows your baby’s profile and front/back views (pending their position) but with an outline appearance of their face/body and internal organs.
3D ultrasound
3D ultrasounds are optional and create a three-dimensional image of your baby. The 3D also uses sound waves to create a still image of your baby in your womb. as well as produces volume rendering of the ultrasound data.
3Dultrasounds also show a more clear picture of your baby’s face, hands, body, and organs and present a more sepia-toned image. You will see many fun, detailed images of your baby in print.
4D ultrasound
What’s amazingly different about the 4D ultrasound is that you will be able to view your baby in live mode! You will actually be able to see your baby’s movements such as smiling, yawning, and turning.
4D ultrasounds also show pristine detail of your baby’s skin and you’ll see chubby cheeks, fingers, and toes all in live video.

5D/HD ultrasound
Much like the 4D ultrasound the HD ultrasound (High Definition) is an upgraded sonogram with amazing clarity of your baby. The movements of your baby’s face, their expressions, hands, and feet are just astounding and you will actually be able to see a visual view of these sweet movements live-streamed and in action.
